Privacy Policy

1. Your resume stays on your device
The free ATS Score Checker reads and scores your resume locally in your browser using open-source libraries. Your file is never uploaded, stored, or transmitted to our servers or any third party. Closing or refreshing the page removes it from memory.
2. Information we collect — only with your consent
We only receive personal information that you choose to send us, for example when you:
- Message us on WhatsApp to enquire about or buy a service;
- Email us your resume to request the detailed fix report;
- Share a reference resume and personal details (PII) — with your consent — so we can deliver the specific resume or service you opted for;
- Join the Corporate Majdoor Community via our WhatsApp group invite.
This may include your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, and the content and personal information (PII) inside the reference resume you share. You share this on your own consent, only for delivering the service you opted for. We do not run hidden trackers or sell your data to advertisers.
By visiting this website and voluntarily sharing your details with us, you consent to provide the required information and to our using it only for the specific purpose for which you shared it. All data we receive is given by you, on your own consent, for that purpose.
3. How we use it
We use the details you share solely to deliver the specific service or response you requested — nothing else. Your phone number is additionally retained as your customer identification and may be used to send you occasional promotional updates about our services. You can withdraw this consent and opt out at any time, and we will stop and remove you immediately.
We may also use anonymized, aggregated data (with no personal identifiers) for business analytics — for example, to understand which services are popular or how to improve. This anonymized data cannot be traced back to you.
4. Data retention — content deleted, billing kept 6 months
Any content or documents you share to fulfil a request — such as your reference resume, the delivered resume, files, message details, name and email — are deleted within 24 hours of delivery being sent and confirmed (or of the request being completed). We do not store this content beyond 24 hours, and we do not share it with any third party. If a third party is ever genuinely required, we take your consent first.
Billing records. For every paid order we generate a bill — a payment invoice and/or a delivery bill, as applicable, including for ad-hoc orders. A basic billing record — your name, phone number and transaction ID — is stored securely in-house for 6 months for tracking and support, then deleted; it is retained longer only where required by regulation. Because of this, a grievance raised beyond 6 months of the order may not be valid, as the related records are deleted after that period.
Security & accountability. Your bills and reference resume/information are held securely in-house under enforced security controls — including encryption, antivirus protection and restricted access. We take accountability for protecting this information from breach for as long as we hold it (bills for up to 6 months; resume content deleted within 24 hours of delivery).
The only other information we retain is your phone/WhatsApp number, kept solely as your customer identification and for occasional promotional updates. You may withdraw your consent and have it removed at any time.
5. We never store or share your data
We do not store your content-based data, and we do not share, rent, or sell your information or documents with anyone. The only people who ever see your details are those at The Corporate Chai working on your request.
6. Encrypted, secured conversations on WhatsApp
Almost all communication with us happens on WhatsApp, where every message is end-to-end encrypted by default — meaning only you and we can read them.
For extra protection, our WhatsApp account is secured with two-factor authentication and has Advanced Chat Privacy turned on, adding additional safeguards to keep your chats and any details you share private.
7. Third-party links
Our site links to WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, OneDrive and similar services. Once you leave our site, their own privacy policies apply.
8. Your rights & how to raise a grievance
You can ask us to delete your data or withdraw your consent (including for promotional updates) at any time. For general support, email our team or message us on WhatsApp. For any privacy grievance, data-access request, or suspected data breach, write to our dedicated grievance email: grievance.thecorporatechai@gmail.com.
Our SLA to respond to any grievance is 24–48 hours (business days, during working hours). Please note that a grievance raised beyond 6 months of the related order may not be valid, as those records are deleted after 6 months.
9. Our privacy commitments
We align our practices with the principles of ISO/IEC 27701:2019 (Privacy Information Management / PIMS) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023. Please note: this is a self-alignment with those principles; we are not officially certified.
We are also fully transparent in how we operate: we never push you to buy additional services, and we never spam or harass you.
- PII by consent only. Any personal information (PII) in a resume is provided by you in your request and shared with your consent, only to deliver the service.
- Client confidentiality. We never share client information with anyone, and hold no liability in this regard.
- Promotional figures & logos. Any figures (e.g. "1000+ interview calls") and company names/logos shown are promotional, based on client feedback — not exactly tracked and not endorsed or verified by those enterprises. We're not obliged to provide such data or proof.
- Regulatory readiness. Our alignment is self-declared; we are not audit-ready yet and will apply for certification once we are.
- Agreement by contacting us. By reaching us on WhatsApp — including via our ads — you are deemed to agree to this Policy and our Terms by default.
10. No defamation
No competitor, individual or entity has the right to make false allegations against, or to defame, The Corporate Chai — digitally, on social media, offline, or via comments anywhere. Any such act may lead us to file for defamation. Genuine concerns should be raised with us directly and pursued only through lawful channels.
